Diwali Celebration of festivals and cultural events organized by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are aimed at fostering not only the values and educating about heritage, culture, and traditions but such events are special days when the NGO team member and the beneficiaries collectively come together to spread cheer, smile, and harmony in the community.
Diwali is a festival of light. Let’s prove that right by enlightening poor children’s life. Our culture speaks volumes about this festival, but what’s usually missed is this festival is not just about being happy; it’s also about making others happy.
This Diwali we give you a unique opportunity to spend time with children on the Eve of Diwali. Because what better way to make someone’s day than to celebrate Diwali with them.
Cry child Foundation is an NGO that believes that the more happiness you spread the happier you get. Together you and we can do this by making poor children happy. This can be done by simple task of celebrating Diwali with children at our facility. After all, making a poor child happy is making oneself happy.
Diwali is India’s most important festival of the year—a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness. More than billions of people celebrate Diwali with joy, exchanging gifts, sweets with their friends and relatives, marking a start of new year. But still there are many underprivileged souls who are unable to experience this festivity. Cry child Foundation made sure this doesn’t happen this year. Team of cry child foundation distributed gift of joy to the needy children living in the slum area of Delhi. More than 100 happiness kits were distributed which included special treats for children like chocolate, chips, biscuits, etc. Their happiness cannot be expressed in words. Cry child foundation took an oath to reach out to more children and make their everyday like Diwali.
